Repair-to-Upgrade Lighting Pathway

Existing Lighting Infrastructure

Millions of fluorescent and Type A LED retrofit systems remain in service across North America. These systems include troffers, strip fixtures, vapor-tight fixtures, low-bays, high-bays, and many other commercial lighting configurations.
While technologies continue to evolve, much of this installed infrastructure remains functional, valuable, and capable of supporting future upgrades.

Why Existing Infrastructure Still Matters

Commercial lighting systems were originally designed around replaceable components. When a lamp failed, it could be replaced. When a ballast failed, it could be serviced. Fixtures remained in place for decades as part of the building infrastructure.
This serviceable architecture helped lighting systems adapt to changing technologies without requiring complete replacement.

When Upgrade Paths Disappear

Many lighting upgrades focus only on immediate energy savings. In some cases, the result is a system that becomes difficult to improve further without rewiring, fixture replacement, or major project disruption.
As buildings move toward connected and smart lighting systems, preserving future upgrade options becomes increasingly important.

Continue The Upgrade Journey

ConNexTube offers a different approach. Rather than replacing lighting infrastructure that still works, we focus on upgrading the components that limit future performance.
Our LED Ballast platform preserves existing fixtures, installed LED tubes, and electrical infrastructure while creating a practical path toward dimming, controls, and future smart lighting integration.

Repair-to-Upgrade (R2U) Pathway

Instead of starting over, existing lighting systems can continue evolving through normal maintenance cycles. Ballast replacement becomes an opportunity to improve performance, add control capability, and prepare for future lighting modernization.
The result is lower disruption, lower project risk, and a more sustainable upgrade path.

Why This Matters

The most successful retrofit projects do more than reduce energy consumption. They preserve future possibilities.
By maintaining existing infrastructure while enabling new capabilities, lighting systems can continue delivering value long after the original retrofit project is complete.

Four Building Blocks. Thousands of Fixtures.

ConNexTube's four LED Ballast configurations are designed as standardized building blocks. Together they support a wide range of existing T5 and T8 commercial lighting systems commonly found in schools, offices, warehouses, parking facilities, and institutional buildings.
Fewer models. Better compatibility. Simpler maintenance. Easier upgrades.
